Gibbous is a small app with one job: show you the moon, beautifully, on your Home Screen. It is made by Handler Labs LLC.

Widget-first and beautiful

The widget is the front door. It should be gorgeous, accurate, and worth a glance, because a good widget is a small pleasure you get many times a day.

Astronomy-accurate, astrology-optional

The phase, illumination, moonrise, and eclipses are computed from real astronomical algorithms and checked against published ephemerides. The astrology layer is there if you want it and invisible if you do not. It is framed as folklore, never as fact.

Private by design

There is no account and no server of ours. Your settings and saved places live on your device and sync only through your own iCloud. We collect no data, show no ads, and do not track you. That is a design decision, not a setting.
